Ottoman Hotel Imperial is a unique historic landmark that carries Istanbul’s deep-rooted past into the present. Built in the mid-1800s as a school and hospital, the original building served madrasa students for nearly 70 years. In later years, it was expanded with additional structures and operated as the Merchants’ Hospital (Esnaf Hastanesi).

In the mid-20th century, these historic buildings were transformed into an accommodation facility. In 2005, they were meticulously restored in line with their original character and reopened to welcome guests under the name Ottoman Hotel Imperial.

Located in Sultanahmet on Istanbul’s Historic Peninsula—right next to Hagia Sophia—our hotel offers an unforgettable stay with its exceptional views and central location.
