Short and sweet, very lovely hotel, ideally located in the old part of Istanbul, you can reach all the important historical sites within minutes. Staff are very helpful, polite, spoke excellent english, rooms are clean, decent size, comfortable, breakfast choice was good, nice terrace to lounge and have your tea or a drink, good value for your money.

Just returned back from a month holiday , stayed at Ottoman Hotel Imperial in Istanbul the 3 nights of our holiday. Istanbul is a great place to visit, it was our first trip there and we'll be back again. Ottoman Hotel Imperial is a very good hotel with great location, excellent staff. Rooms are good, clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. Close by to all the important sites to visit. Tram line is few steps away from the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

Excellent locataion in a quiet street in the older part of Istanbul with the Aya Sofya at your doorstep. The staff Gulan, Merih and Erhan were very friendly and helpful and they spoke very good English. Newly refurbished with great beds and a good breakfast. We were delighted with our stay.

I cannot believe that I am just getting around to writing this review, because this hotel is truly wonderful. My friend and I made the long trek to Istanbul, welcomed by this quaint and spacious hotel. The staff was very friendly and escorted us to our room which had an unbelievable view of Aya Sofia. Being in Sultanahmet made seeing many of the sights very convenient. Strangely, for its busy location, I found the hotel to be quiet at night. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. If I had one complaint, it was the shower. The step off from the shower to the floor required a step stool. It was okay for us, but if you have difficulty transferring out of the shower because of physical ailments, this will be a problem. Otherwise, I would stay here again. I have stayed at some of the most beautiful hotels in the world, and this quaint little gem is well worth the money.
